Starting with the first vintage in 2004, HKG launched a new era at Hop Kiln Winery. Nearly from the beginning the wines have received high point scores from the Wine Spectator and The PinotReport. We are focused on site-specific plantings of grape varieties that excel in our appellation; namely Burgundian supergrapes Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Of key importance is site-specific viticulture in achieving the finest results from the ranch's vineyards including new clones and state-of-the-art farming practices.
