Walters Ranch Historic District

 
 

Located in the heart of the Russian River Valley, this property has been a working ranch since the mid-1800s.  Retaining the integrity of its original design and overall feeling, it is an important, living reminder of Sonoma County’s diverse agricultural past.

  • 380-acre ranch raising fruit, vegetable, hops, hay, cattle, sheep
Hop Kiln
  • Built in 1905 by Sol Walters
  • Processed hops until the 1950s
